Overview of Role

We are looking for a performance-driven Google Ads Manager with a strong understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem. This role is not just about running Google Ads, but about strategically driving external traffic to Amazon listings while navigating attribution limitations and optimising for downstream conversion impact.
The ideal candidate understands how Google Search intent translates into Amazon purchasing behaviour and can build scalable systems to drive high-quality traffic, improve branded search on Amazon, and maximise overall ROI.
Note : This is not a standard Google Ads role. Success in this position depends on the ability to operate in a limited-attribution environment, think beyond platform-reported metrics, and connect Google Ads performance to Amazon business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and optimise Google Search campaigns with a focus on high-intent keywords aligned with Amazon demand
  • Develop full-funnel strategies to drive qualified external traffic to Amazon listings, Brand Store, or landing pages
  • Structure campaigns to capture demand, competitor traffic, and branded search opportunities
  • Work with Amazon Attribution and other tracking mechanisms to measure performance as accurately as possible
  • Optimise campaigns based on proxy metrics such as CTR, CPC, branded search lift, and Amazon conversion trends
  • Design and execute A/B testing strategies for ad copy, keyword segmentation, and landing flows
  • Collaborate with the Amazon team on listing optimisation, keyword alignment, and conversion improvements
  • Identify and test different routing strategies (direct to Amazon vs. pre-sell landing pages)
  • Continuously refine targeting, bidding, and keyword structures to improve traffic quality
  • Stay updated with changes in both Google Ads and Amazon attribution capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Google Ads Certification is highly preferred
  • A strong understanding of Amazon marketplace dynamics is essential
  • No direct pixel-based tracking between Google Ads and Amazon
  • Requires expertise in indirect attribution, including: Amazon Attribution links and Pre-landing page tracking strategies
  • Ability to make data-informed decisions with incomplete attribution

Tools & Technical Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Ads (Search-first approach)
  • Experience with Amazon Attribution and Amazon Brand Analytics
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 for traffic analysis
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager (especially for pre-landing page tracking setups)
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for performance modelling and reporting
  • Experience with keyword research tools such as SEMrush / Ahrefs or similar .
  • Understanding of landing page strategy and CRO principles
